The Martin Brassil trained Worldor justified strong support (9/4 in the morning into 7/4f) to win the Event Hire at Naas Racecourse Handicap Hurdle at Naas today, providing jockey Niall Madden with his 13th win of the season.
The winner moved to the front at the final flight and held the challenge of Like Your Style by three parts of a length.
Brassil later stated “Worldor seems to handle the conditions – I know the ground was heavy but it was slow enough time. It's great to get the win and he's got a very patient owner!
“We'll see what the handicapper says but he'll be getting into better company now. We'll look for something either this side of Christmas or over Christmas next.”
