Winters brothers on Cloud nine after Model win
Brian Hayes' mount Model Cloud seals her Tramore win with a good leap at the last

There was a greyhound racing theme with the opening winner at Tramore, Pleasure Dome and there was a canine connection to race two victor as well with Model Cloud emerging on top for the Winters' brothers, Tony and Mick.
Pleasure Dome's owner John Turner won the Oaks at Shelbourne Park last Saturday night with his super bitch Jaytee Jordan, whilst Tony Winters is a familiar face at that game too, principally competing with runners at Curaheen Park.
Backed from 12/1 into 7/1 for the DFL Fitouts & Joinery Ltd. Handicap Chase, Model Cloud, with Brian Hayes up, threw two good solid leaps over the closing fences to cement a two and three parts of a length superiority over fellow Cork challenger Island Master
Said Hayes on Model Cloud, second in this race last year, "Mick isn't here today as he had an operation on his knee. He told me to keep it simple on her and she deserved to win today. She loved the ground."
Rachael Blackmore, rider of Old Supporter trained by Ms Helen P.Markham, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount emptied quickly.
