Wins Now Delivers for Maddens
Niall 'Slippers' Madden completed a 19/1 double as the previously frustrating over fences, Wins Now got his act together coming off a break to sluice up in the first split of the Pride Of Tipperary Beginners Chase.
Madden had half-an-hour earlier landed the handicap chase in equally emphatic fashion on The Phantom Piper for his boss, Mouse Morris.
Easy to back at 6/4, the J P McManus-owned chestnut led going well three out and from before the next it was clear that he had the measure of his chief market-rival, Glacial Promise
Winning trainer and of course father of the successful rider, Niall 'Boots' Madden, said: "The pressure is off now, he won! He'll go for the Galway Plate if he gets in."
