The Like Kilbeggan Races On Facebook Handicap Chase is the feature at the County Westmeath venue after Sunday's cancelled card has been quickly rescheduled to Tuesday. William Du Berlais is a horse well familiar with the demands of this circuit and the first four races of his career came at Kilbeggan.
That included a maiden hurdle success in August 2016, and an outing here last time off a break could put him spot on for an assignment over a more suitable trip.
Mark Walsh is on the JP McManus-owned runner, with Jody McGarvey on his other hope, Exactoris
It could be worth rowing in behind a McManus horse in the opening Adare Manor Opportunity Maiden Hurdle as well, with Santiago De Cuba making plenty of appeal.
Trainer of the aforementioned Exactoris, Joseph O’Brien, has care of Killarney bumper scorer Santiago De Cuba and he can take advantage of the weaker company he keeps here after decent Navan and Punchestown efforts.
Donie McInerney, the champion conditional, rides the selection there, but it is Walsh again that is on another McManus participant to grab the attention, Market’s Field in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle.
Named after the home of soccer in Limerick, we have not seen much of this Stowaway gelding in recent times and he has just the one outing in 2018 under his belt.
That came on heavy terrain at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, but he promises to be better suited by what will face him now and significant improvement might be forthcoming.
Holding Pattern could be the one to be on in the Bloomfield House Hotel Mares Hurdle for Jessica Harrington and Robbie Power.
Meanwhile, Capital Force gets a hopeful vote in the Mid Summer Monday 25th June Race Evening Beginners Chase. Henry de Bromhead and Andrew Lynch combine with this son of Kayf Tara.
