William Lucky for Cooper
The concluding race at Naas, the Become A Go Racing In Kildare Member Flat Race saw a very impressive winner in the Tom Cooper trained Lucky William after he ran out a very easy seven length winner in the hands of Mikey O’Connor.
A delighted Cooper said afterwards: “We decided to come here because it was the safe option, the ground had an ease in it as he likes soft ground and it’s left handed track and prefers going left handed.”
“He’s a big strong horse and I’d say we’ll probably go hurdling with him next.”
