Will Do galloped on strongly in the closing stages to land the odds in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Hurdle at Sligo, giving Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy a double on the card.
The Gigginstown-owned gelding, winner of a bumper at Cork when last seen in April, went to post a 2/5 shot back over hurdles in the three-mile-one contest this afternoon.
Kennedy led early on the Walk In The Park gelding before settling in behind Just Three after four flights.
The hotpot jumped into a narrow lead three from home and was asked to assert after the penultimate flight, going on to record a six-and-a-half length success over Insouciant Dallier
Elliott said: "He jumped great apart from missing one down the back the last time. I was delighted to see something going on after a few hurdles just to give him a bit of a lead.
"He's a nice horse and he'll probably be better suited by a more galloping track. He was just ready to start off and Jack said there's plenty of improvement in him. He's a chaser down the road, he has a good attitude and is very relaxed.
"Anything from 2m6f to three miles should suit him and he'll probably step up to Listed or Graded company now."
Elliott and Kennedy had also teamed up to take the opener with Firm Footings
