Why from the Aidan O’Brien stable justified his short price when taking the opening Tattersalls Ireland EBF Fillies Maiden at Leopardstown this evening in the hands of Joseph O’Brien.
O’Brien who had the 11/8 favourite in front after a furlong kept on well close home to hold off the fast finishing Eva’s Time and Pat Smullen by a short head.
Winning jockey O’Brien who is a son of the winning trainer recorded his fifteenth winner of the season aboard the Galileo filly.
