Garrett Ahern's Whoyakodding (13-2) was driven out by Rachael Blackmore to account for Shes Flat Tothemat by a length and a quarter in the MM Halley & Son Solicitors Handicap Steeplechase in Tramore.
The gambled-on Rudy Catrail raced well clear throughout but was caught by Whoyakodding and Shes Flat Tothemat at the second last in this extended two mile five furlong contest.
Whoyakodding went on but Shes Flat Tothemat was switched out to challenge at the last.
Blackmore got into the drive position on the run-in and kept her mount up to his work to close out the race from the challenger.
The each-way money was landed on Rudy Catrail (9/1 from as big as 33/1 in the morning) who plugged on for third, a further seven lengths away.
Garrett Ahern said: "Two miles was too short for him the last day.
"He'll go back over hurdles now to the race he won last year at Wexford. It is an opportunity hurdle and he'll have to stick to what he knows."
