White comes home in Front
White Front from the Kevin Prendergast stable shed his maiden tag when coming home in front of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden.
Declan McDonogh sent his mount to the front from over two furlongs out and kept on well to hold off the late challenge of Buy Back Bob by a head.
A relieved Prendergast said afterwards: “We were very disappointed with him at the Curragh the last day, he lost his head going to the start and pulled hard.”
“He did it well today and we will put him away now until next season. I’m glad he won as I only sold a half share to Norman before his run at the Curragh.”
