Pincheck has made a bright start to his new life in Ireland and scored a second win in three starts for trainer Jessica Harrington in the Michael Higgins & Co. Handicap at Naas today.
The ex-Luca Cumani trained three year old was due to go up 9lbs for future handicaps following a good third in a conditions’ race at Gowran last weekend and made light of the concession when taying on well in the home straight to beat Tribal Path
Harrington later commented "I was a bit worried about the ground but luckily we got that heavy shower and Colm said he was very comfortable today. He did hurt himself in Leopardstown and that's why he didn't run for so long.
"He's a very immature horse still and is only learning. Whatever he does this year he will be an even nicer four-year-old, and he might one day grow into that enormous frame."
