Well-bred & talented - it's Letherbelucky

The phenomenal record of the Supreme Horse Racing Club and their Willie Mullins runners continues along its merry way, the latest success being Letherbelucky s impressive debut over flights in the jogforjockeys.ie (Mares) Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown.
Mullins and Ruby Walsh were completing a double after Raptor s victory in the second. Letherbelucky may have been relatively easy to back at the finish and it was apparent during the race that it was her first attempt over flights but she was ultimately in a different league to her rivals, crossing the line seven lengths to the good from Cuteasafox
Patrick Mullins said afterwards: "She's probably better over a longer trip and she won a bumper over two and a half miles.
"We'll try her in a winners hurdle and we could even run her in one of those mile and six or two mile amateur rider races.
"She's a half-sister to Muirhead and she'll be a very valuable broodmare in time." (AM & EM)
