Park Bloom made the breakthrough in the Kildare Post & Kildare Now Fillies Maiden, scoring under Kevin Manning for Jim Bolger and owner Patricia Burns.
Fourth on her first two starts, the daughter of Galileo then finished second to Curly on her most recent outing at Gowran last month.
A full-sister to 2012 Epsom Oaks winner Was, she was sent off favourite today at 7/4.
Settled behind the leaders, she was pushed along and led from two furlongs out, keeping on well under pressure from there to see off the challenge of Vivianite by a length and a quarter.
The runner-up was returned at 4/1 (from 5s) under Shane Foley for Mick Halford, while the Ger Lyons trained newcomer Ancestral (5/2) was another two and a half lengths back in third.
"She kept us waiting a little while and I think I may have been too easy on her," said Bolger.
"After last Thursday you would think the Gowran run was very good (Curly finished 4th in Meld Stakes) and the second there had good form.
"We'll probably look for black-type now and she could go further. We were anxious to get that out of the way first and it was nice to win at a mile with her."
