2022 has proved a real breakthrough year for Natalia Lupini and the Armagh trainer added to her best ever tally of 14 wins when second reserve Dynamite Katie recorded a gutsy win in the Irish EBF Median Sires Series Fillies’ Maiden at Dundalk.

The daughter of Kessaar showed some promise on debut and certainly didn’t go unbacked here having been 50/1 overnight and further supported on track from 22/1 into 12/1.

Dylan Browne McMonagle elected to make all but his mount faced a number of challenges inside the final furlong.

She kept on gamely in the closing stages to just hold on by a short-head from the always prominent Brasilian Princess with Cyber Attack finishing well just a head back in third and Sound Of The Night a close fourth.

Lupini said, "She's a nice filly. When she ran here the last time she was a bit too keen and a little slow out of the stalls. Today we tried to make use of her. Dylan thinks maybe a drop back to six furlongs would suit her well.

“She has a nice temperament at home, she relaxes and does everything well. She's a good mover, she loves good ground and liked that surface.

“She might be on the market, we'll talk to the owner obviously and see what the plan is for her.”
