Well-backed Walk wins for ATR man

The big two in the betting came to the fore as Walkabout (6/4) beat 6/5 favourite Summerhill Lewis in the opening Best Price Guaranteed At Coral Maiden Hurdle at Cork.
Part owned by At The Races presenter and leading tipster, Gary O'Brien, Walkabout was a strong order in the betting markets this morning and he moved sweetly through this two miler.
Despite making a few slight mistakes the Kevin Sexton-ridden and Gordon Elliott-trained Walkabout edged ahead of the front-running favourite Summerhill Lewis (not completely flawless in the jumping department himself) in the closing stages for a half length win.
"He was good but it was a weak race and it was hard not to fancy him," remarked Sexton.
"He had experience and they didn't go quick which suited him as he has plenty of toe. He'll be a grand horse for the summer and should win more races."
