After a most satisfactory chasing debut from their Cheltenham hero Mall Dini (3rd) earlier on, Philip Reynolds and Pat Kelly struck in the Festival Ticket Offer Novice Handicap Hurdle with the Davy Russell-ridden Presenting Percy (4/5) at Punchestown.
Backed in from 11/10 on track, Presenting Percy got the better of the front-running Llancillo Lord from the last, racing on for a three length win.
Russell reported in the aftermath: "The race was not overly competitive and he learned a lot from his two (hurdle) races.
"His confidence is up now. All Pat's horses are well schooled and it makes my job very easy." Bull Ride (11/1) was withdrawn at the start not under orders. A Rule 4 of 5 cents in the euro applies to all bets,
