Well Insured adds to recent dead-heat win
Well Insured and Dylan Hogan beats Eloge
© Photo Healy Racing
The Derek Barry trained Well Insured followed up last month's recent dead-heat success at Dundalk with a 'clear-cut' win this evening, scoring again under Dylan Hogan in the Follow Dundalk On Facebook Handicap. Eloge held every chance with over a furlong to race but drifted badly to the stands' side inside the final furlong, handing Well Insured a chance. Hogan then kept the gelding going for a three parts of a length win.
Barry was on lead-up duties and wasn't available for comment following the win but twenty year old Hogan, apprenticed to Kevin Prendergast, had his claim reduced to 7lb following his third winner.
