First Figaro and Finny Maguire

Dermot Weld clocked up his fourth winner of the week at Galway today when his 10/11 favourite Another Figaro landed the concluding Ladbrokes 'Your Sport Your Way' Flat Race under Finny Maguire.
Maguire, who looks destined to go fine things as a jockey, produced the son of Silvano to lead under a furlong out before staying on strongly to beat Another Cyclone
Weld was represented by his son Kris Weld who later stated "he had the form in the book to go and win and his two runs were very good and more than enough to win most bumpers.
"Finny has ridden him beautifully and he did the job very nicely.
"I'll have to talk to dad but I'd imagine we'll go for a Flat maiden in the coming weeks."
