Weld has another good filly for the Prince
Bracing Breeze (Pat Smullen) beating Bronte in the fillies maiden

Dermot Weld's fillies Emulous, Caponata and Big Break have been doing the Rosewell House team proud in the Prince Khalid Abdullah silks in recent times and you can add to that list now Bracing Breeze
She has a very decent future if her victory in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Dundalk is anything to go by. Like Emulous and Big Break, Bracing Breeze is a daughter of Dansili.
Pat Smullen rode the 2/1 favourite and she just retained her place at the top of the betting from the well-supported 9/4 shot Bronte (6s this morning).
For much of the straight it was between the pair but Smullen always seemed to have more up his sleeve on Bracing Breeze. When he asked the once-previously raced juvenile to go and win her race the response was impressive as Bracing Breeze crossed the line a length and three parts to the good from Bronte.
They left Sariyfa six and half lengths back in third. Smullen, now level again with Joseph O'Brien in the race to be champion rider, said: "She's a nice filly and was always travelling well. She quickened up really well when I asked her to and she's improved a fair bit from her first run.
"I'd say it was a fair maiden and hopefully she's a nice filly for the future." The aforementioned Joseph O'Brien had to sit this one out as his mount Just Pretending had to be withdrawn at the start for refusing to load. This necessitated a 10 cent rule 4 on all bets.
