The Peter Keatley Fillies Maiden was won by the Dermot Weld trained Grace O'Malley ridden by Pat Smullen and owned by the trainers mother Mrs C L Weld.

Kris Weld son of the trainer said, "She's a very nice filly and hopefully a good one. She may run again before the end of the season although she has done her job now and we may leave her off till next year."
