The Anthony Powell (C & G) Maiden at Listowel saw Tashgheel off the mark at the seventh time of asking for Shadwell and Dermot Weld.
Tashgheel (9/1) left behind a May 2nd Sligo tenth placing to beat Moving For Gold by a length and a quarter.
Trainer of Moving For Gold, Fozzy Stack, also supplied the third, Stalingrad
“The last day he jumped very well from a bad draw and I probably ended up making too much use of him. We’d a nice draw today and Mark (Enright on Stalingrad) went a nice and even pace," reported winning rider Colin Keane.
“I had something to aim at the whole way up the straight. He was going away a bit at the line and will probably get a bit further.
“He had form on slow ground last year and obviously he gets through it well.”
