Winning trainer Collins said afterwards: “He has taken his time but he’s a lovely big horse and he jumps well. We will either go for another handicap or go hurdling with him.”

“He absolutely loved the conditions and it’s great to have a winner around here, I think it’s the only place in the world where they race on the beach.”
