Warne Continues to Progress
Warne is certainly going the right way and after getting off the mark on outing number four at Listowel last time, the son of Bob Back took another leap forward when comfortably taking the Betfair Multiples For Racing Novice Hurdle.
The 3/1 second market choice led travelling well after three out and he had the measure of the favourite, Tarkari from before the last, eventually going on to beat the always prominent Fastey who stayed on again on the run-in.
Winning trainer, Edward O'Grady said of the Andrew McNamara-ridden winner: "Summer soft is his ground. He'll probably go for a novice hurdle in Galway."
