Walsh wins opener at Ballinrobe
Punters were off to a good start when 4/9 favourite Citizen Vic under Ruby Walsh came home in front of the opening race at Ballinrobe this evening, The Western People Maiden Hurdle, trained by Willie Mullins and owned by Donal O'Connor.
Walsh made all on the Old Vic gelding and despite jumping out to his left throughout he stayed on well to win by a comfortable 8 lengths.
