Walsh shines on Tarkari
The two-mile handicap hurdle at Leopardstown produced a terrific finish and it was Tarkari who emerged on top after a blanket finish.
Ruby Walsh produced his mount to lead at the final flight and the 5/2 favourite stayed on gamely to record a length victory over Jigalo
"He gave him a terrific ride. Even after getting in trouble before the last, when he had no room, and missing the last he still produced him to win," said trainer Willie Mullins.
"He's improving all the time. He'll probably get an entry for the County Hurdle but could skip it and go to Fairyhouse and Punchestown."
