- Walsh & Hourigan score again
Walsh & Hourigan score again
The combination of Ruby Walsh and Michael Hourigan was again seen to good effect (having won recently on False Economy & Lend A Hand Son at Ballinrobe & Sligo respectively) in the third race on the card at Limerick the June 11th & 17th Twlight racing maiden hurdle.
The 6yo gelding came home best to score by two and a half lengths at 7/1 from De Dodger and Aine O’Connor back in second.
The Moscow Society gelding won a point-to-point at Dromahane back in November of last year beating the subsequent Grade 2 winner Back In Focus by a neck
Winning trainer Michael Hourigan stated afterwards “Virignia (winning owner Virginia Lady Petersham) is a great supporter of National Hunt racing and I’m delighted to train a winner for her as she was getting a bit dishearted recently.
“He is a real summer horse but we will probably wait until next season to go chasing with him.”
