Winning trainer Paddy Meany said afterwards, "He ran well here the last day when he finished 2nd so we were just hoping he'd go one better and he duly obliged. We have no set plans really it's hard enough to find 3 mile hurdle races but we'll keep him over hurdles for the time being and in time we will go chasing with him."
