Wachman on the mark in Fairyhouse chase
Pageboy and Paul Townend leads over the last

David Wachman had a rare jumps winner at Fairyhouse today when his Pageboy landed the Free Admission For Under 18's Beginners Chase for former Champion Jockey Paul Townend.
Well backed 5/4 favourite and multiple hurdle winner Cailin Annamh held every chance racign with the pace when crashing out at the second last fence. Pageboy, which had been patiently ridden, arrived with his winning challenge to lead before the final fence before staying on well for a two lengths win over Presenting Beara
Irish Classic winning trainer Wachman later stated “it's great for the lads (Mount Temple Two Racign Syndicate) as they've had horses with me for a long time and they enjoy it. Whenever you get a winner you enjoy it, but I don't enjoy this NH weather (raining) though!
“We'll play it by ear and see how he comes out of it.”
