Dato Star's half-brother, Allez Vic is a horse that one punter will be eternally grateful to, as his success for Jimmy Barcoe and Brian Hayes in the Navan Members Handicap Hurdle, resulted in an investor scooping 178,844 Euros for winning the Tote Pick 6.
The pool was 255,491.50 Euros and in the closing leg, a two and a half miler, Allez Vic led three out and stayed on well from the last to beat Not For Burning by three and three parts of a length.
Favourite Rich Revival couldn't raise his effort from the final flight and ended up a length and a half off them in third.
Morning market mover Baby Whizz came home in a dispute of fifth place with Little Boy Boru (GC & EM)
