Via Galilei wins for Bolger/Manning
Trainer Jim Bolger, out of luck with Gan Amhras which finished sixth in the Irish Derby, registered a win at The Curragh today when his Via Galilei made all to win the Dubai Tennis Championship EBF Handicap.
Ridden by Kevin Manning, the son of Galileo eventually proved four and a half lengths too strong for runner-up Drunken Sailor
Afterwards Bolger reported "Via Galilei came back to form there and will now step back up to Listed company. He is closely related to Teofilo and seems to have grown up a fair bit mentally."
