Velocity too sharp in Ballybin
Miss Velocity continued on an upward curve when running out a ready winner of the Ballybin Handicap at Fairyhouse.
Kieran O'Neill always had the filly at the head of affairs and she kicked on over a furlong from home.
Andrew Oliver 's charge kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a length-and-three quarters margin over Mujaazef
"She seems to be improving. She's a pleasure to train and loves what she does," said Oliver.
"Everything went to plan. She got a nice possy and the ground was lovely for her.
"She jumped and got into a nice rhythm. Kieran said she was hard on the steel the whole way.
"She's in at the Curragh on Friday and does rather well when turning out again quickly. Although it's more difficult against older horses."
