Vault makes all in nursery
Vault showed his rivals a clean pair of heels to running out a convincing winner of the Nursery at Galway.
Joseph O'Brien popped the Danehill Dancer colt out smartly to lead from stall two in the seven furlong contest and the 4/1 shot always looked in control.
7/4 favourite Blue White Fire tried hard down the straight but never looked like getting to his rival, going down by a length-and-a-quarter to the Ballydoyle runner. Dark Passion who had fluffed the start and found himself in rear, finished strongly to take third.
"He had a nice draw and jumped quickly. He travelled nicely in front and quickened well down the hill. He stayed on well to the line," said O'Brien junior.
"He was running off 90 there and give time hopefully he'll improve to go on to more than that."
