Vast improvement from Consumption
Vast Consumption throws another good leap at the last under Ruby Walsh

Ruby Walsh got on the scoresheet at the Fairyhouse Festival when Vast Consumption easily landed the valuable www.thetote.com Handicap Hurdle.
The much-improved nine-year-old Rudimentary mare was clear from two out and it was all over bar the shouting as she'd scored over three miles last time. Vast Consumption, backed from 9s into 7s came home three and a half lengths to the good from The Way We Were (favourite as JP & AP bided for another winner). Leah Claire took a nasty fall three out when still in contention and she brought down Kandari
Willie Mullins, gaining win number three with Vast Consumption, from five efforts since she's joined Closutton, said: "I'm delighted with that and she's come back from three miles to two there.
"She looked to travel well throughout and she hurdled very well.
"We'll probably go to Punchestown but the Galway Hurdle is in the back of my mind." (MG & EM)
