Hymn Book Two (7s out to 10/1 before the off) enjoyed the step up in trip when landing the mile and-a-half-maiden for trainer Jim Bolger.
Having tracked the leaders, Kevin Manning sent her on over four furlongs from home and she battled on well in the straight to beat Artistic Choice and Hotter Than Hades by half a length and one and three quarter lengths.
The three-parts sister to the stable’s four-time Group 1 winner Dawn Approach was getting off the mark at the eighth time of asking.
Una Bolger remarked: "She is a fine filly and we're delighted to get that bracket for her. She is of course valuable for breeding and we're hoping to get black-type for her before she retires at the end of the year."
