Unsung Heroine at Cork
Tommy Stacks Unsung Heroine won The Ladbrokes Give Thanks Stakes Group 3 for owners Adahessonsplusone Syndicate with Wayne Lordan doing the steering.
Lordan raced his mount in behind the leaders and once he spotted the gap 2f out he pushed his mount out and stayed on well to head Michael Kinane aboard Hasanka inside the final furlong.
Fozzie Stack said afterwards, 'She was supposed to run in April at Leopardstown but two days before she punctured a joint. She was a bit green and didn't turn well today she'd probably be better on a galloping track. She is a nice filly to have and we have her entered in The St Leger at Doncaster she stays very well and The Parkhill Stakes at Doncaster might be another option.'
