Under Review does Browne proud

Under Review dominated Division 2 of the six furlong handicap in Dundalk, winning by three lengths under Wayne Lordan.
Michael Browne’s seven-year-old gelding had been runner-up on his last two spins round the polytrack, but the 11/4 favourite made no mistake tonight.
Racing off the pace, Lordan had him in fifth with a quarter of a mile to go. From there he made stealthy headway to lead at the furlong pole and powered away for a decisive success. He was backed in from 7/2 on course. Times In Anatefka (25/1) kept on for second-placed money with Colin Keane doing the steering. Another outsider, Chillie Billie at 16s, was a neck away in third.
Handler Michael Browne said: “It’s been a long time coming. The key to him is the break, he broke well today. He’s been five or six lengths down in sprints and still coming home.
“He has lots of ability and is a very good horse on his day. He’ll come back here in a fortnight’s time. I get a great thrill out of that as I ride them myself. I’ve only one left in training at the minute.”
Under Review is evidently a big fan of the sand having won in Southwell, Laytown and Kempton during his career.
