Way Up In The Air made full use of her good experience to run out the ready winner of the concluding bumper at Cork.
Robert Tyner’s five-year-old mare was having her sixth run in a bumper and took today’s contest by a length and a half at 4/1.
She hit the front five furlongs out and wasn’t for stopping despite the best efforts of 9/10 favourite Lord Of Tara who had to settle for second place.
She gave Robert Tyner a double after Instant Impacked #8217;s win in the previous race. He said: “She’s a huge mare. She’s 17 2. It was her last chance in a bumper. She’ll run next in a maiden hurdle here on December 9th.
There was a nine length gap back to the gambled on Band Leader (16/1 in morning to 6/1 SP) in third for Thomas Foley.
