Tudor City travelled all over his rivals in Division Two of the extended mile and three handicap at Limerick and stretched clear in the final furlong.
He scythed through on the bridle over a furlong from home to pick up the lead and was merely shaken up to go about his business to win by four lengths.
Tony Martin's four-year-old gelding was returned the 5/2 favourite. High Expectations attracted support in the ring from 9/2 to 7/2 and came in second. Carraigin Aonair was a head away from second at 22/1 having been a morning price of 40/1.
Billy Lee said: "He's not a bad horse and it wasn't much of a race apart from the second (High Expectations).
"They went very slow and it turned into a messy race. Tony (Martin) was putting his disappointing run at Listowel down to the heavy ground."
