Tuckmill ran out an easy winner of the first division of the two-mile handicap at Naas to give trainer Fran Flood a welcome winner.
The Court Cave gelding was produced by Sean O'Keeffe to lead at the second last and skipped clear bypassing the final flight, which was taken out after the second flight fall of Gargouille
The 16/1 shot galloped on strongly in the closing stages to post a seven length success over 28/1 shot Good Man Turk
It was a first career success for Tuckmill on his 15th start and Flood's first winner since February last year. Tuckmill had been six on his most recent start here.
Flood said:- “He probably needed to concentrate more and the blinkers helped him. He was that bit behind the bridle.
“It’s great that he’s won. He ran a fine race the last day (in first-time blinkers) and hopefully they keep working for him.”
