Only four go to post for the Ballyduane Stud Race at Limerick but it is a tight little heat.
Coming out best on the figures is Willie McCreery’s True To Herself who took a good step forward from her maiden to win next time at Listowel.
That form took a huge boost when the runner-up came out and won by seven lengths next time out and given she is rated 6lb higher than her three male opponents and receives a handy 5lb sex allowance she looks the one to beat.
Paddy Twomey ’s Understate an Oasis Dream colt, is improving with racing and won last time out so could give her most to do.
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Auction Fillies Maiden includes some interesting newcomers without anything jumping off the page.
Joseph O’Brien runs two bred by his mother, Ann Marie. Syrenna is by Gale Force Ten and Vallambrosa by Holy Roman Emperor.
His father, Aidan, is represented by Fleeting a Zoffany filly out of a Spanish dam while Dermot Weld introduces Frosty Beach, by Footstepsinthesand.
McCreery’s Amaira showed a glimmer of promise when fifth of nine on her only run and brings the only form into the race.
In the fillies’ maiden over nearly a mile and a half Joseph O’Brien’s Seize Your Star looks interesting having finished sixth of 11 on debut a fortnight ago.
