Truckers delights the Shark
Truckers Delight made a mockery of what appeared a very competitive looking Masterchefs Hospitality Handicap Hurdle when scoring by six lengths under Conor O'Farrell.
Trained by John 'Shark' Hanlon, the eight-year-old gelding took it up before the final flight and stretched clear to beat The Last Derby with Native Clan a further length and a quarter back in third.
'He's done it very well, and was unlucky at Fairyhouse last time when he clipping heels and slipped up turning into the straight,' said Hanlon.
'He'll probably come back here on Saturday for the big handicap (Whitewater Shopping Centre Handicap Hurdle).'
