Tree Of Knowledge justified favouritism, as he made all to take the Best Of Luck To The Kilkenny Hurlers This Sunday Maiden.
Second on his debut at Leopardstown earlier this month, the son of Oasis Dream again filled the runner-up spot on his next outing at the Curragh.
Briefly available at 13/8 last night, the Aidan O'Brien trained colt was odds-on throughout the day, opening on-course at 9/10 before drifting out to evens at the off.
Sent straight to the front by Donnacha O'Brien, the successful bay three-year-old was ridden from the two furlong pole and soon went a few lengths clear, maintaining that advantage all the way to the line, scoring by three and three parts of a length. Ample Sufficiency finished second under Pat Smullen for Dermot Weld at 5/2, while Saafarr (3/1) was another three lengths back in third for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning.
The winning rider said afterwards: "He got a grand lead and he's honest and stays well."
