Co Carlow based trainer Sean Treacy saddled Flirthing Around to win The Saltees Island Mares Novice Hurdle, ridden by amateur Brian O'Connell and owned by the Meter Syndicate.

Winning trainer Treacy said afterwards, "We will probably give her a little break now and then we'll go for The Bewleys Mares Listed Race at Leopardstown over the Christmas. She won't spend too long hurdling, we'll go chasing with her then."
