Davy Russell was the leading jockey at Tramore with four winners, and he capped off the August festival with victory on Sir Jack Yeats in the featured Noel Cummins Bookmaker Handicap Chase.
"He ran very well in the Galway Blazers. The blinkers seem to suit him. He won here last year and obviously likes the track," said winning trainer Ellmarie Holden.
"We will give him a few weeks now and then have a look at something for him. If there is a suitable race for him at Listowel he could go there."
Sir Jack Yeats was the 11/4 favourite for this two and three quarter miler and he was soon in front.
Not fluent four out, Sir Jack Yeats travelled well before two out. Pushed along before the last, the Yeats gelding kept on well to comfortably see off Burndown by nine lengths.
The Stewards fined J. Morrison, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Invincible Don in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91.
The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
Rachael Blackmore, rider of Summer Storm (GB) trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was pulled up having lost his action during this race.
D.E. Mullins, rider of Allied Victory trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame and was dismounted immediately.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Allied Victory, trained by John Patrick Ryan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his right fore leg.
