Townend has his Questions Answered
Jockey Paul Townend warmed up for his ride on Arbor Supreme in the Aintree Grand National on April 9 when completing a double on the Eric McNamara trained Questions Answered in the featured Grade C Easter Handicap Hurdle at Cork today.
Townend, successful in unusual circumstances in the opening race on Sweet My Lord doubled up on Questions Answered, which traveled handsomely throughout and won well, by two and a half lengths, in taking style.
Trainer Eric McNamara “Questions Answered is a smashing horse and should make a really nice chaser next season.”
He added “he is only a five year old but has already won three times and although he may have one more run at Punchestown, he'll then be left off for the summer.”
