On his second ride for Edward O'Grady, Paul Townend got Indian Spring home the length and a half victor of the Metal Man Novice Hurdle at Tramore.

With his usual assurance, Townend produced the 7/4 favourite two out and slick hurdling at the final two enabled him to see off his chief market rival, Bannow Rose

Indian Spring, blinkered as usual, was getting off the mark at his twelfth attempt over jumps. (EM)
