Fran Berry made the best of fellow jockey Danny Grant's suspension when steering the Pat Flynn trained Topadee to win the limerickraces.ie Handicap at Limerick today.
Berry produced the daughter of Golan from last to first before running out the neck winner over Cash Or Casualty
Flynn, who employs Grant as his stable jockey, was absent but Berry did later say “Danny (Grant) was suspended today but told me exactly how to ride her and in fairness to him, he was spot on. I thought she would win a little easier near the finish but all credit to the second (Cash Or Casualty) who picked up really well. Topadee is very ground dependent and it was as slow as she'd like it today.”
