Never too far away on her previous winner, Is She Diesel Rachael Blackmore was at it again to complete a 65/1 Ballinrobe double on Ronava (10/1) in the Killeen Sports Grounds Handicap Hurdle.
Up there out of trouble on the front end, the Richard Cotter owned, trained and bred Blueprint gelding asserted approaching the last to defeat Newsworthy by eight lengths.
Unfortunately Popboru took a horrible looking tumble at the fourth flight. For Freddie was badly hampered here and he was soon pulled up. That hurdle was bypassed next time around.
For champion condition Blackmore this was a third double of the month and she said: "I've three more winners to go before I lose my claim."
