Toast supplies Doyle with another winner
Eoin Doyle’s run of luck continued when Winners Toast claimed the Grand Hotel Killarney Handicap Hurdle in the hands of Mickey Butler who was deputising for the injured Shay Barry.
Butler who was never too far off the pace hit the front approaching three out and kept on well to record a four and a half length win over Giant Sequoia
Winning trainer Doyle said afterwards: “He’s a grand horse who took awhile to get right, he’s in right order at the moment.”
“We’ll keep him hurdling and that trip and ease in the ground really suited him.”
“He got a good ride and you’d feel sorry for Shay [Barry].”
