Tithonus became the fifth winning favourite in six races when triumphant under Seamie Heffernan in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap at Dundalk.
Following up on his course and distance success from sixteen days previous, Denis Hogan's 9/4 shot was never far away on his way to a half length victory over Shinyhappyjohn
"He's improving and he's maybe gotten a bit stronger the last couple of months," said Heffernan.
"Denis fancied him and told me to ride him good and forward."
For his part Hogan reported by phone: "He's very sweet at the minute and Seamie is getting a great tune from him - he needs no instructions. We'll freshen him up over Christmas and we'll look at something in mid or late January.
"It comes at a good time with the Christmas party for our great staff next week."
The Stewards informed Noel G. Hynds, trainer that My Princess Emma would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
