Always to the fore Tisadream landed the Visit West Waterford Maiden Hurdle at Tramore for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore.

The locally based powerhouse team had two winners at the seaside venue last evening with Centurion Steel and Miss Tempo, whilst Blackmore had a third winner then too, Downthecellar for Edward O’Grady.

Second placer in this opener, Secret Secret wasn’t getting on terms when making a mistake at the last, and four lengths eventually split them. It was the same margin then to favourite, The Greek in third.

"That was brilliant. She struggled on the winter ground but looked much better at Kilbeggan. Rachael said she just stepped forward again today and she is getting more and more professional about it,” said de Bromhead.

"I'm delighted for John Byrne (owner). She is a homebred of his and is from an old family of theirs. She will be a nice mare to breed from in time.

"I left it up to Rachael, she was going to be forward anyway and I just left it to her after that.

"I'll speak to John and see about a plan. She is an older mare and we might kick on over a fence with her. She jumps so well that I'd be thinking of a beginners chase and head that way, but we'll see what John would like to do."

D.P. Maxwell, rider of Seamus Darby trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Seamus Darby trained by Matthew J. Smith was found to have blood from both nostrels post race as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
